This free family event will take place Labor Day weekend, Saturday, September 3, 2011, from 12-7 pm, at the Academy’s Art Center, 1111 Victoria Street, Honolulu, HI 96814. Twelve of Hawaii’s top graffiti artists will compete in the nation’s largest graffiti art competition. 808 Urban will be presenting “HIstory”, an interactive narrative of the past, present, and future of Hawaiian culture through activities and workshops that encourage youth to become more involved in the arts and their community.
